Historical Background
The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has decided to release part of the material produced since 1979, the year when the term "Tourism Satellite Account" was first coined in France. This compilation is divided into two parts. Both parts begin with an introduction of the now-historical documents:
- Designing the Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) Methodological Framework (1995-2000).
- The Tourism Satellite Account (TSA): Past, present and future developments. The complete report is available through UNWTO's Infoshop.
